Shiyan Daily (correspondent Zhou Lixin, Huang Xiaodong report), on the afternoon of May 5th, Li Guangrui, party secretary and director of municipal Bureau of Commerce, visited Shiyan Yinpengxing Electronic Technology Co., LTD for field investigation, supervising the construction of Gambia (Hubei) overseas economic and trade Cooperation Zone.


During the investigation, Li Guangrui had in-depth communication with the foreign employees of the company about their work, study and life in Shiyan, and held a special meeting on the project construction, listened to the report on the project construction, project promotion, operation of the cooperation zone and the arrangement of the next work plan, and put forward guidance.

Li Guangrui research pointed out that in the Gambia (hubei) economic and trade cooperation zones is hubei province business hall confirmed one of six outside the zone, which is an important project of hubei province's foreign economic cooperation, also to Gambia key projects of economic cooperation in China, the company to undertake the major responsibility, should pay special attention to the project construction, and make contributions to okada in economic development between the two countries. During the investigation, Li guangrui stressed that the current international COVID-19 situation is still severe, enterprises should properly arrange the construction pace, timing and intensity, speed up the construction of cooperation zones, and build economic and trade zones into a window for China's economic cooperation in Gambia while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control.


It is understood that Shiyan Yinpengxing Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a trading enterprise, mainly engaged in automobile export, commodity trade, agricultural foreign investment. In 2016, with the strong support of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Provincial Department of Commerce, the company built the Gambia (Hubei) Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone. The construction content of the project includes "one platform and one park" : Shiyan open cooperation and exchange information platform and Gambia (Hubei) Agricultural demonstration Zone. Shiyan Open Cooperation and Exchange Information Platform is an organization to guide enterprises to "go out" and invest in Gambia and provide consulting services. The agricultural demonstration zone is the carrier of the project in Gambia. Demonstration area construction is divided into three parts: agricultural demonstration park, agricultural products processing park, trade and logistics park. At present, 12,000 mu of land has been requisitioned. Among them, the agricultural demonstration park has sorted out 3,000 mu of land to grow rice, vegetables and other crops. Agricultural products processing park, trade logistics park 120 mu of land has been acquired and stored, water, electricity, road infrastructure is basically complete, the construction of part of the plant, introduced 4 enterprises to enter.


During the 14th Five-year Plan period, under the strong support of the province and the city, the project construction of "One Platform and one Park" will be accelerated. By 2025, 50 domestic and foreign enterprises will enter the park, with an output value of 500 million US dollars and an annual profit and tax of 10 million US dollars. The construction of key projects in agricultural production, cold chain logistics, industrial processing, trade circulation, financial services, education and training will create employment for 10,000 people, promote economic development of 1,000 rural households, and promote the steady economic development of Gambia, which will reach important economies in West Africa.
