On the morning of August 10, 2023, Ma Haitao, Vice minister of the United Front Work Department of Zhangwan District and secretary of the Overseas Chinese Federation, led the District Foreign Affairs Office, the District Overseas Chinese Federation and the District Commerce Bureau to visit and investigate Shiyan Yinpengxing Electronic Technology Co., LTD., to understand the production and operation of the enterprise, coordinate and solve the difficulties of the enterprise, and serve the construction of Gambia (Hubei) overseas economic and trade cooperation Zone.
During the research, Zhangwan District leaders presided over a special meeting, listened to the production and operation reports of enterprises, learned about the recruitment and training of overseas students, and the progress of the construction of Gambia (Hubei) overseas economic and trade cooperation zone. We also conducted in-depth exchanges with foreign students to understand the working, studying and living conditions of foreign students in Shiyan, and encouraged them to base themselves in Shiyan and contribute to the economic development of the two places.
The meeting pointed out that Shiyan Yinpengxing Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a backbone enterprise in Zhangwan District to participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road", and it is necessary to actively take the lead in practice, guide regional enterprises to "go out", give full play to the guiding and demonstration role, help more regional enterprises enter Africa, realize the transfer of automobile production capacity and industry, and contribute to the opening cooperation and exchange of Zhangwan District.
The meeting required that the Gambia (Hubei) Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone project is the only foreign-related project in Zhangwan District, and enterprises should have a high sense of political responsibility and sense of mission, do a good job in project construction, and strive to build the economic and trade zone into a window of Sino-Gambia economic cooperation. At the same time, we must earnestly perform our duties, do a good job of security and ensure the safety of the lives and property of overseas personnel.
The meeting also gave positive solutions and answers to the specific difficulties and problems put forward by the enterprise, solved the difficulties in the current production and operation of the enterprise, and effectively promoted the production and operation of the enterprise.
It is understood that Shiyan Yinpengxing Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a private enterprise in Zhangwan District, mainly engaged in automobile export, commodity trade, foreign investment. In 2016, a number of enterprises invested in the construction of Gambia (Hubei) agricultural demonstration Zone in West Africa. In 2022, the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce identified the project as "Gambia (Hubei) Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone", and the provincial government included it in the "14th Five-Year Plan for Agricultural and Rural Modernization".
