At the seminar, Mr. He Dezhong congratulated His Excellency the Ambassador on being received by General Secretary Xi Jinping on 24 April! He expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Ambassador for receiving the company during his busy schedule!

His Excellency the Ambassador warmly welcomed your company to the Embassy and welcomed the company to invest in Guinea, and the Embassy did its best to do a good job in serving and promoting local development to achieve a win-win situation.

During the seminar, He Dezhong reported on the company's business situation and development vision. He also planned to organize enterprises to invest in agricultural investment, automobile assembly, education and training, tourism promotion, and support the establishment of exchange and cooperation promotion association in The Gambia, and discussed and reached an agreement.

First, to carry out agricultural investment. The company organises enterprises to invest in agriculture in Guinea, planting corn, vegetables and other crops there, and providing technical support to local farmers to promote local agricultural development.

The second is to organise car assembly. According to the domestic demand for automobiles in Guinea, the company has joined hands with Chinese enterprises to build a Dongfeng Automobile (CKD) assembly line in the region, with an annual capacity of about 100-300 units.

Third, support the establishment of exchange and cooperation promotion associations. Based on 16 Guinean international students, including Ducai, Kodak and Jiali, the "Guinea-China Exchange and Cooperation Promotion Association" was set up in Wuhan to establish a file of Guinean students in China, conduct regular exchange activities and help them start their own business in China.

Fourthly, education and training are carried out. The company will organise Chinese language and skills training courses in Guinea, and the embassy will recommend a vocational and technical school to cooperate with the company. 20-30 local students will be trained each year, and about 10 outstanding students will be selected to continue their studies in China for 1-3 years and sent to work in Chinese enterprises after completing the training. By June 2023, five students will be recommended for selection by the company and will be sponsored to study in schools in China.

Fifthly, we will promote tourism in Guinea. The company edited a special edition of "One Belt, One Road and Hubei" free of charge to promote Guinean culture and tourism. The embassy will organize and review the article, and the company will edit and distribute it.

In order to ensure that the results of the talks can be implemented, the company will form a feasible plan for the above work as soon as possible and submit it to the Embassy, which will send the relevant information to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guinea and relevant departments for consultation.

The ambassador stressed that Guinea has excellent natural conditions, rich resources and good potential for tourism development. Cooperation with China in the areas of agricultural investment, tourism promotion, education and humanistic exchanges will be of great importance for Guinea's economic development. I hope that your company will promote the economic development of both countries and the friendly relations between the people to achieve common development.
